Child Safety Standards

Yapzy — random voice chat & friends
Effective date: 22 July 2026 · Child safety contact: support.yapzy@gmail.com

This page sets out Yapzy's published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and explains how we keep minors off the Service, how users can report concerns, and what we do when we find a violation. These standards apply to every part of the Service: live voice calls, chat messages, display names, and voice-verification recordings.

Zero tolerance. Yapzy has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form. Violations lead to an immediate, permanent ban — of the account and the device behind it — and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement.

1. Yapzy is an adults-only service (18+)

Yapzy connects users by live voice with people they do not know. It is designed for, rated for, and restricted to adults aged 18 or over. Minors are not permitted to use the Service under any circumstances. Our Terms of Service make 18+ a condition of use, and we remove any account we believe belongs to someone under 18 (see section 3).

2. Prohibited: child sexual abuse and exploitation

The following are strictly prohibited on Yapzy, whether in a voice call, a chat message, a display name, a verification recording, or anywhere else on the Service:

These rules apply to real minors and to depictions or descriptions of minors. "It was a joke" or "it was roleplay" is not a defense.

4. In-app reporting and blocking

Every user has reporting tools built directly into the app — no email required:

Reports are reviewed, counted by our moderation systems, and retained even after the reported account is deleted, so a violator cannot erase their history by deleting their account. Concerns can also be sent to our child safety contact (section 8).

5. How we enforce these standards

Yapzy's live calls are real-time and are not recorded by us (see our Privacy Policy), so enforcement on calls is driven by user reports — which is why reporting tools are available during the call itself, not just after it.

6. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

If we become aware of CSAM on the Service — in any content we host, such as chat messages or verification recordings — we will:

7. Compliance with child safety laws

We comply with applicable child safety laws in the regions where the Service operates, including:

8. Child safety point of contact

Our designated child safety point of contact — able to speak to Yapzy's CSAE practices and to receive notices from users, authorities, and Google Play — is:

Child Safety Team, Yapzy
support.yapzy@gmail.com (subject line: "Child Safety")

Child-safety emails are prioritized over all other support requests.

9. How to report a child safety concern

These standards are part of our Terms of Service (see the community rules) and work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we hold and retain. If we change these standards we will update this page and its effective date.
